"SPACE", A Calcutta based band will be performing at the curtain raising of AYTW2010. The event starts @6.30p.m., November 7th , Sunday @ Cha Bar, Oxford Bookstore, Statesman Building, C.P.
About the band
The band is an all girls band that uses unassuming objects like A Tibetan prayer bowl, a ghungroo and many other street percussive objects. SPACE is a musical journey where people keep boarding and sharing their human experiences through musical conversations, using instruments like tabla, saxophone, djembe and guitar.
SPACE has previously performed at Cafe Morrison, Geoffrey's, Cafe Oz, Turquoise Cottage, International Diner and Wills Fashion Week 2010. Also performed at Les Ecoliers (a musical bar in Paris promoting new and experimental world music bands) in Paris.
