Festival director Kuljeet Singh introduced the days' event. Hansraj College was the first to perform for the day. Their play named "Inquilab" which was an eye opening performance. The next on the scheme of the day was "Soch ka Dayra" presented by I.P. College, the play depicts the "myopic mindset" of the society. "Bandi" by Roobaroo (an independent theatre group) is a play which dealt with the issue of female sex workers's status in "our" society.

The plays were performed with great zest and were well appreciated.

An informal panel discussion followed the performances. It was carried out with the performing teams of the day. The panel discussion was spear headed by Shahid Anwar, a veteran theatre practitioner. The teams learnt the areas where there was a scope of improvement and also clarified queries related to their productions.
